Agriculture Program Manager

The Agricultural Program Manager is responsible for planning, delivery, and improvement of the agricultural aspects of Trellis’ organic gardening programs, and implementing strategies that achieve program goals, increase participation, and strengthen client connections. This is a very active role that requires a high level of physical strength and stamina.

The ideal candidate has substantive experience working in organic or sustainable agriculture, is a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and client management skills, and a demonstrated understanding of project management and attention to detail.

Agriculture Specialist

The agricultural specialist is part time position that comprises both planning and hands-on work in support of the agricultural components of Trellis programs. The agricultural specialist will work together with the agricultural manager to ensure healthy crops in our many partner gardens sites, through guided plantings, garden checks, troubleshooting and education. 

Agricultural Specialists are excited about organic agriculture and the potential for developing a more localized and sustainable food system. Strong candidates will have an open mind, an upbeat, positive attitude, high energy, and have a good sense of humor.

Youth Development Manager

The Youth Development Manager supports the delivery of Trellis youth programs by cultivating and improving vibrant connections with youth, their caregivers, community partners, and other key service providers. The Youth Development Manager is a strong networker and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, a demonstrated understanding of teen development, and substantive experience working with diverse youth and communities.

This role is focused on researching, planning, and implementing strategies that support the achievement of youth program goals, increase participant enrollment, and strengthen community connections. The Youth Development Manager will also assist in program delivery and will work directly with youth program participants, in groups and individually. They will also spearhead community engagement initiatives to increase awareness of and engagement with Trellis programming.
